COOPERATION IN RESEARCHING THE HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

 At the invitation of Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament Zandanshatar Gombojav, Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev is paying an official visit to Mongolia on these days.

During the visit, the delegates visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, participated the photographic exhibition entitled "Artifacts of the Nomadic Civilization" jointly presented by Mongolia and Kyrgyz Republic, and actively engaged in the research conference named “A historical connection between the Kyrgyz and Chinggis khaan, his descendants” on 23rd of April, 2024.  

During the photographic exhibition, Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament Zandanshatar Gombojav expressed his appreciate for visiting in the Chinggis Khaan National museum, which is adequate with the modern global standards. He continually noted that Mongolia has traditional collaboration with the Kyrgyzstan Republic and always try to developing cultural cooperation and exchange an experience and knowledge. Especially, there is a new opportunity to preparing a scholars and researchers on the international platform for the both nations which preserve the nomadic culture and lifestyles from the ancient times. As a result of the visit, both nations have an opportunity to exchange researchers, organizing a joint research conference.

Nurlanbek Shakiev, Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that the nomadic culture is not only expressing a history of ancient states but also preserving heritage inherited from our ancestors. For studying the artifacts of nomadic cultures, there is an opportunity to introduce ancient tradition, culture and art world. And he continued to express about cooperation with developing the both nation’s consociation, relationship of science community, mutual studying history and cultural heritage.

The research conference was held by jointly the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, the Institute of History and Archeology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, and named after B. Jamgerchinov, Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnology of the Kyrgyz Republic and about eight lectures were discussed by the both nation’s scholars and researchers.

During the event, "Khaan Nairal" (orchestra) ensemble of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum’s concert was performed to the participants of the research conference.
