CHINGGIS KHAAN NATIONAL MUSEUM’S ACADEMIC LIBRARY

LIBRARY INTRODUCTION

Chinggis Khaan National Museum’s academic library has a fund that fully meets the needs of readers with the works necessary for academic research related to Mongol khans and nobles and aims to be the information and research center with modern technology services directed to creating a favorable environment for readers and scholars to conduct research.

The academic library has a collection of 7,000 books specializing in history, archaeology, ethnography, Mongolian studies, linguistics, and museum studies. Book information is entered into the search engine by connecting to the international standard search system “MonKoha,” which is classified by Dewey’s decimal classification with an electronic catalog.

The academic library has a comfortable reading room with an area of 160.7 m2 for 8 people, a book fund with an area of 209.6 m2, and 2 librarians.
