Chinggis Khan: How the Mongols Changed the World exhibition awarded as the “BEST HISTORY EXHIBITION” by one of EUROPE’S MOST RENOWNED MAGAZINE

Under the patronage of the Presidents of Mongolia and France, the exhibition “Chinggis Khan: How the Mongols Changed the World”, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Mongolia and the Chinggis Khan National Museum, and displayed in Nantes, France, has been awarded the “Best Exhibition” of 2024 by famous French magazine Historia.

Historia magazine, which has been professionally active in the field of history since 1909, has been presenting its prestigious award since 2010 to encourage participants in the creation of history in the fields of activities, exhibitions, films, and show arts.

The award is judged by a panel of distinguished industry judges in collaboration with Historia magazine, and this year the selection was made in 8 nominations including Historical Book, Reader’s Choice, Play, Comic, Exhibition, Screen, and Innovation.

The judges emphasized that the exhibition was the one of the most important exhibition on Mongolian history and the Great Emperor Chinggis Khan not only in France but also in Europe, and that it demonstrated that in addition to Mongolian history, the Pax Mongolica can be seen as a highly significant globalization of trade that has never been seen before in world history.

The Chinggis Khaan National Museum was also recognized as one of the world’s top 20 travel destinations by the US National Geographic Society in 2024, and with this exhibition’s awarded in Europe, was selected as the best in Europe by the Historia magazine.

We are pleased to announce that, under the patronage of the President of Mongolia, the exhibition will be presented in Prague, Czech Republic, in March 2025, and in Berlin, Germany, in October 2026.
