In celebration of the 390th birth anniversary of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar and under the patronage of the President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the special exhibition “Mongolian Craftsman: Heritage and Craftsmanship” officially opened at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum on July 4, 2025. The exhibition aims to preserve, research, publicize, and disseminate the traditional heritage and culture of Mongolian craftsmen; to encourage and support senior craftsmen who inherit and pass on intangible cultural heritage; and to transmit their knowledge to future generations.
The exhibition is jointly organized by the Office of the President of Mongolia, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia, the “Tumen Erdenes” Association, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, the National Museum of Mongolia, the Zanabazar Fine Arts Museum, and the Union of Mongolian Artists.
