SPEAKER OF THE NEW ZEALAND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES GERRY BROWNLEE VISITS THE CHINGGIS KHAAN NATIONAL MUSEUM

Mr. Gerry Brownlee, Speaker of the House of Representatives of New Zealand, who is paying an official visit to our country, along with his delegation, visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum. (2025.09.01).

The representatives were welcomed by Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia Ch. Undram, Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, Academician S. Chuluun, Head of the Mongolia–New Zealand Parliamentary Group in the State Great Khural, S. Erdenebold, as well as other officials.

The delegations toured the “Ancient States of Mongolia” and “Great Mongol Empire” halls of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, paid tribute to the Golden Statue of Chinggis Khaan in the Grand Hall of Honor, and left their impressions and signatures in the museum’s guestbook — marking a historic page in the relations between the two countries.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and New Zealand in 1975. This visit is the first official visit to Mongolia by a New Zealand Parliament Speaker.
