During the opening ceremony, His Excellency B. Bayarsaikhan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan, emphasized that this exhibition is being organized at a significant moment: Mongolia is currently implementing the “National Program for Mongolian Script III,” following the Presidential Decree and the Law on the Mongolian Language, which require government and local authorities to conduct official documents in both Cyrillic and traditional Mongolian script beginning this year. He also noted the special significance of holding this exhibition shortly after the State Visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan to Mongolia. He highlighted that this event contributes to strengthening the people-centered “Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity” between the two nations, particularly by building mutual trust and expanding cultural relations.
