
Within the framework of the 80th anniversary of the Institute for Humanities and Applied Social and Economic Studies of the Republic of Tuva, Russian Federation, an international conference was organized. At this event, Academician S. Chuluun, Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, delivered and discussed a paper titled “Chinggis Khaan National Museum: Becoming a Center of Nomadic Civilization” (2025.10.01).
In his speech, he emphasized that the Chinggis Khaan National Museum is engaged in researching and restoring the invaluable cultural heritage of the nomadic peoples of the steppe, preserving it in a museum environment that meets international standards, and promoting it to the public. The museum also implements educational programs for children and youth, regularly organizes international academic conferences and lectures by prominent scholars from both home and abroad, and has mounted major international exhibitions such as “Chinggis Khaan: How the Mongols Changed the World” in the French Republic, “Chinggis Khaan” in the Czech Republic, and “Mongolia: Journey Through Time” in Switzerland, thereby providing a comprehensive service in history, culture, and education.
