With the aim of publicly promoting and raising awareness of historical and cultural heritage, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum has opened a temporary exhibition titled “Selection of New Exhibits” on the 9th floor temporary exhibition hall, showcasing items that were either purchased or donated to the museum. The exhibition opened on October 17, 2025.
This exhibition brings to the public for the first time a collection of artifacts that have been added to the museum’s collection between 2022 and the present and were previously not displayed.
Some of the best exhibits:
- The original version of the “Bolor Toli,” one of the major historical source on Mongolian history, dating from the 18th-19th century
- The historical source “The History of Chinggis Khaan” written in France in 1677
- A special Chinggis Khaan commemorative stamp issued in 1962 for the 800th anniversary of his birth
- “Khukh Nuur of Khar Zurkh,” a painting by People’s Artist L. Amgalan, created in 1990
- The “Chinggis’ Warriors Have Arrived” Mongolian stamp collection, issued in honor of Mongolian peacekeepers in Sierra Leone
Over 150 exhibits in total will be on display until the end of this month. We warmly invite all visitors to come and enrich their knowledge and enjoy these cultural treasures.
