CHINGGIS KHAAN EXHIBITION TO OPEN IN BERLIN NEXT YEAR

The Director of the Genghis Khan National Museum, Academician S. Chuluun, held an official meeting with Dr. Prof. Matthias Wemhoff, Director of the Museum of Prehistory and Early History under the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation of the State Museums in Berlin, Germany, and Dr. Anton Gass, a research fellow at the museum (2025.10.26).

During the meeting, preparations for the exhibition to be held in Berlin next year and agreements on cooperation between museums, catalogs, accompanying programs, advertising, and other issues were discussed and agreed upon.

Chinggis Khaan National Museum has been actively expanding its international relations and partnerships. As a result, in 2023, the museum organized an international exhibition about Chinggis Khaan at the History Museum of Nantes, France. In 2024, it presented the exhibition “Chinggis Khaan: How the Mongols Changed the World” in Mongolia, featuring rare and valuable artifacts related to the Mongol Empire preserved in various European countries. In 2025, the museum is showcasing the “Chinggis Khaan” exhibition in Prague, Czech Republic, and participating in “World Expo 2025” in Osaka, Japan, with exhibits highlighting the history of the Mongol Empire. Most recently, the exhibition “Mongolia: A Journey Through Time” opened at the Rietberg Museum, the largest art museum in Zurich, Switzerland, introducing European audiences to Mongolia’s history and culture.
