The 2025 ecological plan of the newly established city of Kharkhorum in Kharkhorin soum, Ovurkhangai aimag, includes planting 1.1 million trees.

In accordance with this, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum included the planting of 1,000 trees in the “New Kharkhorum” city in its performance plan, and carried out the activity together with the contractor companies on October 28, 2025.

The Chinggis Khaan National Museum has been planting trees in the “Bayangol Park” every year since 2021, as part of the implementation of the 2021 Decree No. 58 of the President of Mongolia “On the National Billion Tree Movement” and the 2010 Decree No. 63 of the President of Mongolia “On the Declaration of the National Tree Planting Day”.
