
Chinggis Khaan National Museum Director, Academician S. Chuluun, signed a “Cooperation Agreement” with Dr. Rūta Kačkutė, Director of the National Museum of Lithuania, during his visit to the museum in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, one of the Baltic Sea countries. (2025.12.05)
Within the framework of the agreement, the two countries will expand cooperation between museums, organize joint exhibitions, and exchange experts, work together in a wide range of areas.
It was also agreed to display the Chinggis Khaan exhibition in Lithuania in 2028, with the goal of promote Mongolian history and the legacy of the Great Chinggis Khaan to the people around the Baltic Sea.
During the visit, Academician S. Chuluun viewed the personal archive of the famous Mongolist scholar O. Kowalewski at the Vilnius University Library, and agreed with the heads to begin work on publishing a special catalog.
The National History Museum is the largest in Lithuania, a major center of cultural heritage with more than 100 thousand exhibits.
