CHINGGIS KHAAN NATIONAL MUSEUM PARTNERS WITH INTERNATIONAL HERITAGE INSTITUTE

The Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, Academician S. Chuluun, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on January 20, 2026, with the Director of the International Heritage Institute in Rome, Italy, Sergio Iovino. 

Within the framework of this memorandum, the two sides agreed to cooperate in the following areas: digitizing museum collections and integrating them into international cultural platforms, ensuring access to museum cultural heritage for people with special needs, strengthening the capacity of museum staff and guides through advanced training programs, and implementing joint research projects among scholars, curators, and specialists.

The International Heritage Institute works to preserve, promote and enhance the appreciation of cultural heritage worldwide, with a special focus on tangible and intangible cultural heritage, and supports international cooperation, cultural diplomacy and intercultural dialogue.
