During a working visit to subordinate institutions together with the ministry’s leadership, Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Ch. Undram visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, where she personally familiarized herself with the research collections, archives, registration and information databases, conservation and restoration laboratory, museum shop, and museum-based educational programs on February 24, 2026.

D. Erdmaa, Manager of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, presented an overview of the museum and raised issues regarding the ownership of exhibits and artifacts belonging to institutions temporarily housed at the museum, as well as the need for support in resolving matters related to placing the museum under special state protection.

During the visit, the Minister met with officials and employees of state-owned museums operating in the capital city, introduced the ministry’s policies and strategies, and listened their views and suggestions.
