DUE TO MUSEUM CAPACITY, THE LAST VISITOR WILL BE ADMITTED AT 15:00

Every year, during the first week of March, all state-owned museums organize “Museum Open Days,” offering free admission to the public.

Visiting all museum halls typically takes at least two to three hours. During Open Days, due to high visitor volume, the last visitor will be admitted no later than 15:00. We kindly recommend that visitors plan their visit accordingly.

Visitors wishing to pay respects at the Golden Statue and the Honorary Hall of Chinggis Khaan are required to purchase an admission ticket, while access to the permanent exhibition halls remains free of charge.

During Open Days, the increased number of visitors may pose risks to the preservation and protection of museum exhibits. On regular days, children may visit with their class, friends, or individually at any convenient time, return as often as they wish, and participate in the “Learning at the Museum” educational programs for a more comfortable and in-depth exploration of history and culture.

According to Article 9.1 of the Museum Law, Mongolian citizens aged 0–16 are entitled to free admission to museum exhibition halls every day. However, due to the high visitor volume during Open Days, bringing very young children may negatively affect their health and safety. We kindly ask visitors to take this into consideration.
