SPECIAL EXHIBITION “MONGOLS AND THE SILK ROAD” OPENS IN KHARKHORIN

For the first time in the local area, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, in collaboration with Tumen Amgalant Asar LLC, has opened the special exhibition “Mongols and the Silk Road” at the “Secrets of the Silk Road” Tourist Camp in Kharkhorin soum, Ovorkhangai Province.

This exhibition is one of the large exhibition dedicated to the 820th anniversary of the founding of the Great Mongol Empire, and a total of 46 artifacts from 38 categories are being displayed to the public.

If you would like to learn about the great cultural exchange, trade, economy, and literary heritage along the Silk Road, the main trade corridor connecting Asia and Europe, during the Mongolian era of the 13th-14th centuries, when Mongolia established Pax Mongolica in the world, through this exhibition, be sure to visit and spend some time at the Secrets of the Silk Road camp to enrich your knowledge and experience.

The exhibition will be open to the public until September 15th.
