S. CHULUUN: WE WILL WORK WITH GERMAN MEDIA TO PROMOTE MONGOLIAN HISTORY AND CULTURE

The Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia, in cooperation with Germany’s Museum of Prehistory and Early History, is preparing to organize the international special exhibition “Chinggis Khaan and the World of the Mongols” in Berlin this October under the auspices of the Presidents of both countries.

As part of efforts to promote Mongolia’s history and cultural heritage internationally, journalists and photographers from 12 German media organizations visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum on June 8, 2026, at the museum’s invitation.

The delegation was received by the Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, Academician S.Chuluun, who gave a detailed introduction to the museum, answered their questions, and took them through several halls for explanations. At the beginning of the meeting, Academician S. Chuluun emphasized that the museum’s core collection, dedicated to the history of the Mongolian state and named after Chinngis Khaan, consists primarily of archaeological discoveries. Although the museum was established only recently, it has already organized international exhibitions in five European countries over the past three years to accurately present and promote Mongolian history abroad.
