Under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, the 12th International Congress of Mongolists will be held in Ulaanbaatar on August 10-14, 2023.

This conference is jointly organized by the Office of the President, the Ministry of Education and Science, the International Association for Mongol Studies, and the Chinggis Khaan National Museum under the theme "PAX MONGOLICA AND HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE".

The 12th International Congress of Mongolists will focus on the particular features of history, traditions, language, literature,

socio-economics, politics, outer and internal world, and civilization of Mongol nomads.

More than 750 international scholars will participate in the opening of the conference, and 307 scholars from 20 countries will give presentations and discussions. The characteristic of the congress is organizing the sub-session "Young Mongolists" among doctoral researchers to support young generation of Mongol studies. Total of 59 young Mongolists will give presentations.
