"GENGIS KHAN: THE MONGOLS CHANGED THE WORLD" EXHIBITION HAS BEEN OPENED IN NANTES, FRANCE

The opening ceremony of the exhibition "Gengis Khan: The Mongols Changed the World" was held at the Nantes History Museum-Castle of the Duke of Brittany in Nantes, France on October 14, 2023.

The exhibition is jointly organized by the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, Mongolia and the Nantes History Museum, France on the support by the presidents of Mongolia and France for non-profit purpose within the framework of cooperation and cultural promotion of the both countries.

This exhibition aiming on the influence of Chinggis Khan and Mongolian Empire on humanity is being promoted to the worldwide and completed by 400 pieces of artifacts from Institute of Archeology of Mongolian Science Academy, Chinggis Khaan National Museum, Kharkhorin Museum, and including private collector items. The numbers of entire showcase also enriched, performed by 150 more unique pieces from Louvre, Branly, Sevres museums, Guimet National Museum of Asian art of France and 20 different number of museums from EU.

The exhibition "Gengis Khan: The Mongols Changed the World" will be opened for public from October 14, 2023 to May 5, 2024.
